Soon there will be supplied four variants of Opel Insignia in the market – Essentia, Edition, Sport and Cosmo which provide a very high level of comfort. In addition to the generous standard equipment intended to take care of traffic safety, there are also various additional options available. Many of them are technological innovations, some options are offered by Opel for the first time.
Insignia’s high quality could be already seen in the first-level version – Essentia. Metallic finish Rapid Cool harmonizes with the upholstery fabric Jet Black. There is an extensive list of basic equipment offered for Essentia, including front, side and window airbags, Isofix anchorage on all three rear seats and also anti-lock braking system (ABS) and dynamic stabilization system (ESP). Comfort is provided by air conditioning, stereo system CD 300, power mirrors, a folding rear seat (with sections ratio 60/40), on-board computer, power adjustable driver’s seat and front and rear local lamps (for reading). Essentia version is equipped with 16” Steel Wheels with 215/60 tires. This configuration will be available for individual orders.
Edition version has two variants of seats upholstery: Jet Black and Neutral. The Dune fabric has pattern which is inspired by organic graphics used in interior accommodations. One could also choose leather seats (Black or Neutral) as an option. Metal decorative parts Rapid Cool are nicely combined with fabric. Base equipment of Edition version includes such systems as one-zone climate control and cruise control. Insignia Edition is also equipped with 17” Wheels with 225/55 tires. The minimum price for this configuration (hatchback body) is €23.397. Liftback version can be purchased at the price of €21.607. For the station-wagon this configuration will be available from €22.136.
In Sport version the interior trim Piano Black forms a sharp modern contrast with black and silver colors which makes the interior more sophisticated. Upholstery fabric Vitesse looks spectacular because of sharply defined texture. Sport seats have length adjustable cushions. Base equipment has a sport steering wheel and aluminum pedals. The optional Sport seats with leather upholstery and ventilation system look very stylish, creating an atmosphere of high quality and attention for details. The main difference of Sport version is a “sport” chassis (it is 15 mm lower than in other Insignia versions), adaptive suspension FlexRide, 18” Alloy Wheels with 245/55 tires and power steering dependable on car’s speed. For this car configuration with hatchback body the price will start from €34.779. Those who wish to purchase a five-door liftback should pay €35.178. A station-wagon body in such configuration will be offered at a price of €36.450.
The top-version of Opel Insignia is called Cosmo and it has two variants of seats upholstery – Jet Black or Neutral. Interior’s finishing is made of Avenue/Moroccana fabric. Decorative elements of Kibo Wood embodies a new approach to the classic wooden finish. One can choose seats with leather upholstery (Black color or Neutral). Cozy dark-colored carpets on the floor add a modern look to unusually warm interior. This version of Insignia has the following base equipment: rain and light sensors, windshield with thermal protection, ventilated rear seats, Dual-zone climate control system, power rear windows, electric parking brake, leather steering wheel and 18”Alloy Wheels with 245/45 tires. The cost of top hatchback configuration will start from €26.310. The five-door sedan version in this configuration will be offered at a price of €26.709. Maximum equipment for the station-wagon will be available for €31.481.
